I love their early stuff before Ozzy left. When I listened to "13" it was like hearing a bunch of old friends again *sniff, sniff*

Hell yeah especially their first 5....and 13 was a decent album, all things considered. I saw them a few years ago (w/o Bill) It sounded awesome but dang, Ozzy is so old, they had to tune the guitars down ever farther than usual. Cheers to a fellow Sabbath fan.

Not surprising, his voice was so high early on, especially on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath's Spiral Architect - classic example of his range - the perfect rock song, even has strings - sheer bliss!!!

I had the 45 when I was a kid , I don't think they ever did anything else .

We never got exposure to the original in England or Australia, so thank you for bringing that to my attention. SCHOOLED :-)
