And there is someone in charge, in exactly the way you described it (the president), when Trump uses Twitter to editorialize and disseminate information to the public. In that sense it is a media outlet.

I didn't say he was in charge of Twitter--I meant he was in charge of creating editorial content--his own. You can't compare him with an ordinary Twitter user standing out in the public square jawboning with friends. We look at it from different perspectives. Mine is based with facts behind it--the recognized definition of media--and yours is based largely in opinion. And don't make it personal, because I haven't. Let others chime in on this if they choose to.

"The president's Twitter presence is no greater than the typical user's." Now that's dopey. Do you live in a cave? I hope you're not trying to say his influence is no greater than that of the typical user. You haven't proved your case, despite being so full of yourself. I don't care if I'm right or wrong, if someone can prove it to me. but petty bickering about semantics is not my thing. That's why I'm hoping others might chime in. They will either support your position or mine. If not, so be it. Good day.

being or resembling an editorial an editorial statement. editorial. noun. Definition of editorial (Entry 2 of 2) : a newspaper or magazine article that gives the opinions of the editors or publishers also : an expression of opinion that resembles such an article a television editorial. Read the last definition...doesn't; mention anything about an editorial board. Trump is the publisher of his content, and the highest authority on it. He is not representing the public. He is representing the government. He is editorializing.
