Good question. It's still in the Submission Rules pop up when you are ready to submit a creation.

Some foreign language submissions still get through the submission queue and review process and actually feature once in a while, it's not a lot though.

I tried to submit a few memes that were exclusively in another language I was new here, they didn't make it and were never featured.

A few users will make meme comments in another language once in a while, me included. I think those are ok unless the user submits them, at which point they are subject to moderator review and then community voting if they actually feature.

How did you become a MOD?

It might have been that I was in the right place at the right time. A long time ago I asked the site owner if there was a path to becoming a mod. There was no answer. I had to find the path on my own.

You can try being a mod out by creating your own stream imgflip.com/create-stream I see that imgflip.com/m/pepe is not taken, guessing that one might interest you.

After you successfully set up a stream you will be in charge, your username should say MOD in green on any comments you make within your stream. You will have extra abilities in the stream.

The trick to a non featured stream is to get some traffic going, some users that have a stream will put the URL in their tagline.

What should I do if I found a user posting fetish gifs?

First, I recommend reviewing the imgflip.com/terms

These get updated occasionally. If you've read them before, they may be slightly different now.

If you find content that you think is outside the terms, use the flag link and a moderator will review the image and may take action if appropriate.
