Did I state it was? Where's the outrage regarding use of the word in countless rap songs? If rappers get a pass because of their race, then Pryor being one of the movie's screenwriters should get the same pass. That's my point. That, and there's still this thing called the 1st Amendment.

C ool. If you think saying ni**er is ok then fine. The 1st amendment doesn't protect that. Just because Richard Pryor says something doesn't mean it's ok to say ni**er. Read the 1st amendment and get back to me.

Again, my point was about the hypocrisy of the related issues (the movie & music lyrics). I cringe at the thought of any individual (or governmental agency) getting to unilaterally and subjectively draw a line on free speech issues. The 45 words of the 1st Amendment address the government's ability to such.
