IN HIS REPLY, HE WAS SAID TO HAVE WRITTEN, “GOD WILLING AND THE CREEK DON'T RISE”. BECAUSE HE CAPITALIZED CREEK IT'S ASSERTED THAT HE WAS REFERRING TO THE CREEK INDIAN TRIBE AND NOT A BODY OF WATER.
