Every writer or OC person, when they start out, always fall into the 'Mary Sue' category, where through guidance and self-realisation, they can actually make good thing.

I do have some ideas for TV shows and video games. And I will say, that's correct. My OCs were originally OP knockoffs of already existing characters. Now they're better written and have originality. Some are still OP, tho. But I can handle that well by giving them a good enough challenge.

Here's a character I made that I want to use as a video game protagonist. His name's Cody. He's a Cubarian who was given a necklace that contains a square shaped crystal that gives him many awesome powers so he can save his home planet from Dr. Arron; who's an attempt at an interesting twist on the evil-mad-scientist-with-an-army-of-robots trope.

It'll be side scrolling RPG platformer shooter.

It'll be an RPG platformer. Like Zelda II.
But it'll also be a shooter.
So, yeah, I guess.

A Hat in Time and Undertale were kickstarter projects. And they turned out great. So there is hope.
