For the lazy, yes, it would be good. When the lazy brings everyone down, and the dissenters are sent off to "re - education" camps, well, that wouldn't be so good now would it?
Good points. People like to share when they are connected to it personally. Not so much through taxes or totalitarian socialism. When you want people to act unnaturally, you have to use brutal means, and that's a non-starter for me.
