I write one check a month, for rent. Everything else is debit/credit card or online.

Hahhahaaha. My bank was bought out over 2 decades ago and I still have some original checks left over and they still work.

I might like that a lot once I have to start using one of those scooters

only time i see a check is when i get paid, but i also rarely use a credit card except to buy online

Not a problem if you take out your checkbook and start to fill it out WHILE the groceries are being scanned and bagged. Invariably though the checkbook doesn't come out til the very last bag is in the cart.
