If you really want to make the shoe burning take off, create a teen challenge where they burn their shoes while wearing them. It'll happen.

Something smarter on their part would be to draw the NIKE Swoosh symbol on crappy clothes and then burn that! Not EXPENSIVE apparel! SMH
