I have to think you are wrong. War is almost always about taking what the other side has. The justifications may be religion, security, or others like stability. Still its killing fellow human beings mostly for people that will never step foot on the battlefield.

Yea? Why after 16 years in Iraq are we letting them sell their own oil? We didn't just take it. US is also one of the world's largest oil exporters, like 6th or 7th overall, from our own lands.

Yeah that's why when we invaded we sent soldiers to protect the oil ministry, but allowed looters to rampage through the other ministries. Try and know the history you think you defending.
