Taxes wouldn't be a problem if everyone paid their fair share but socialist democrats want to crush people that make more than lower class incomes. They want to eliminate the middle class by having them pay for all the nice things you've mentioned. It's already known that extremely wealthy people can dodge their taxes by donating to charities (that they usually own) and playing the game right. The only victims are the middle class.
