That is not so true. Any required treatments are takin care of pretty damn quick. I myself had a very short wait time for open heart surgery in 2010, and my mother has been battling cancer and all her treatments and surgeries have also happened pretty damn quick and free. Not to mentiom the fact that if anything happens, broken hand (in my case once) or car accident, anything, it is free of charge. Free. The only things you pay for are parking, tv, private rooms. Some of it may not be perfect, and if people stopped going to emergency for the sniffles, also free, it is still a great system that obviously works cuz sunce its inception not one single asshat has tried to repeal or replace it. It comes out of your taxes, but our taxes aren't going for an unecessary military parade, space force, or farmer bailouts. And no the government is not in control of your healthcare. When my heart surgery came up, I was given 3 chouces as to which doctor and city, I chose the best in Edmonton at the Mazankowski Clinic, as opposed to Toronto or Winnipeg where I in fact lived. I did have to pay for my own flight however, fare enough, ha ha bad pun.
