The first boy being raised in the White House in over a half century (Reagan's and Carter's boys were already adults. The only children raised in the White House since the JFK administration) he is considered one of the most intelligent children to grace the halls in a Looong time. It's not just his dad plunking down $50K a year for a private school, though. His mom plays an important role towards that goal. Eschewing nannies, she has raised the boy like a real mother. One of the takeaways from that is that she's encouraged his linguistics abilities. Before starting school, he was able to speak English, French, and Slovenian.
Being a boy, he's thrust into the limelight more often than the daughters of previous presidents that were minors. In six more years, he'll be heading off to college. The next decade will determine if he'll be ready to take over his father's holdings, or, branch out on his own and crush his half brothers.
Where he's fortunate, I feel, is that Melania is taking a hands on approach to raising him: something, I feel, that has to do with her Slovenian background.
Still, the poor kid is surrounded by idiots. Poor guy.
