And when Trump protestors burn flags at Trump rallies, little do they realize they are helping Trump gain more supporters.

Not really. Trump has reached the people he was going to get already. The only reason others now would vote for him again is if the Democrats put up another person like Hilary that has too much baggage that turns off independents.

And I haven't heard of any protester burning the flag recently. Even Iran has given up on it as it no longer has the emotional impact the burner is looking for.

I disagree. Trump has won over many republican voters who either didn’t vote for him in2016 or did only because of Hillary. He’s proven himself to them, which is why trump now has a solid 85-92% approval rating among republicans, highest ever for a president. Many republicans simply didn’t beleive Trump would be as conservative as he is. Plus, trumps approval among blacks has gone from 15% to 29%. I don’t think it’s going to matter who the dems put up against him in 2020 as I think his support is growing.
