That wouldn't work. California is too polluted, and Bernie supporters are against pollution.

I don't see much pollution here in Northern California. And stiffer than federal standards for auto emissions have reduced smog in SoCal pretty dramatically. We have recreational weed despite the ongoing Federal war on drugs. But I was thinking more of the Socialist practices here. Like the elimination of bail requirements (prejudicial to the poor). Like providing cellphones to all adults-if they're poor. Like issuing identification documentation to anyone in the name, gender, address, et cetera that they claim. Like emulating the Progressive cities & counties in declaring California a sanctuary state, again in violation of federal law(s). Like negotiating separate trade deals with other (socialist) countries that are less favorable to us. Like getting involved in nonsensical mass transit deals. Like raising illegal taxes on property owners by calling them fees instead of taxes. Like rent control that will cover the whole state instead of just a few Progressive cities. For example.

There are more progressive states with less pollution.
