My Great Uncle was the Third last Man off of The Beaches at Dunkirk, he stayed to blow the bridges then i think it was 7 boats he was blown off trying to Get Home God bless him got Home ended up fighting for his and his communities lifes no food because they shut the Coal mines down on them when he came home after years of work at the pits when we suprised him took Him to Chatwell when they were our way he wouldnt go in there, none of us could believe it Flat refused told us he was a Terrible bloke and Fred he Was A Cleva Fella so yea i knew back then something was up but he wouldnt tell us what.
