And about the salt comment, I play for laughs, not meta. My favorite move on Nobushi is that divekick, if it's still in the game (I basically haven't played sinse Beta)

PS: Technically, heavy attacks against soldiers also had different animations, hek there were entire combos of animations against them; not even on the move list. I know this, because I remember experimenting with it a lot. Unless I've hopt parralel dimensions, they existed.

Okay... The light attack combos are around. They scrapped the heavy ones though. Now they're like discount zone attacks.
Nobushi's Unblockable kick from Hidden Stance is still around. You get kicked around all the time. The game's gone a long way. There's a whole new faction. On top of Centurion, Highlander, and Shinobi, new characters inclide:
Knights- Gladiator, Black Prior, Warmonger, Gryphon
Vikings: Shaman, Jormangundr
Samurai: Aramusha, Hitokiri
New Faction (Wu Lin): Tiandi, Nuxia, Zhanhu, Jiang Jun, Shaolin

Also, the game's $5 everywhere now. It's on PSNow and Game Pass.

I, myself, main the Centurion, Gladiator, Conqueror, Highlander, and Lawbringer.
I've learned all the free characters and those three purchase characters, though.

Also, every character for purchase except Centurion, Gladiator, Highlander, Shaman, Shinobi, and Aramusha costs 15k steel instead of 10k
