The meme says to "remove...doors" because a door is a border...leaving the door unlocked is not the same thing, because just the presence of a door implies that it may be locked. However, the instant everyone in world knew that it wasn't locked, you would become the victim of all sorts of crimes. Also, saying you "live across the street from Scarface" implies that you would NOT feel safe enough without your borders, because you feel the need to be protected in your home by the "Border Patrol" (Scarface) who lives across the street and would do bodily harm to anyone attempting to steal from you or harm you. It illustrates my point perfectly. The point being everyone has "borders" they want to protect because you can't trust everyone, even if you can trust some. THAT is why "open borders" is an outrageously stupid idea.

I didn't say I removed my door. I have 2 cats I don't want going outside. You know, like a wall that keeps people in. It doesn't keep people out, it keeps my cats in. I can't help it if most people interpret it as a barrier to them. Most knocks on the door are greated with "Come in". Heck, I've been her 3 years, no security, and I haven't used the peep hole in, I don't know how long.

So who SHOULD you fear? Our fellow Americans. Look at the perps of most of the mass shootings over the last century. (not including the lynchings or bombings, but just gun violence) 59% of those mass shootings have been done by white Americans. Latinos? Only 7%. It's those white Americans you have to look out for. Those f**kers are crazy!

But you DO have a door (border)...and yes it keeps people out as well as in, and you'd never go without one because you can't trust everyone, which is the whole point. I am no Trump fan by any stretch of the imagination, but being FOR strong borders and NOT FOR everything Trump says should not be a mutually exclusive proposition. Nothing else stated addresses my main point, so I will just leave it as is.
