Okay. I only was interested in it because I read and watched Nisekoi and thought the Yakuza tie there was interesting. The date I mentioned isn't even in the anime, and won't be unless it goes into a second season.
Once you've read it/watched it, if you like it, there's even a Hinamatsuri group on Reddit and Discord. Yes, I'm in both, but just a fan of the show.
If you want to read the manga, the first 43 chapters are available at https://archive.org/details/manga_Hinamatsuri. I recommend these fan based translations because volume 1 English translation won't be available until September 18, from Amazon. I'll be getting the official version then. Crunchy Roll has the subtitled, Funimation has the dubbed version. Avoid the YouTube critiques on the show because, even the worst reviewer gave away too many spoilers on the anime. (he did a lousy job, so I critiqued his critique. I don't think he was happy. I critiqued another reviewer that knew what he was talking about, and damned if he didn't pin it to the top of his review page)
Useless trivia: Hina Matsuri is the Doll Festival, or Girl's Day, festival held on March 3. I only learned that once the first season of the show ended. I see a lot of the 5 festivals mentioned in anime and manga, but they never mention what it's about. They're so well known in Japan, it's taken for granted everyone knows about them.
