When I was in highschool, sitting in the deans office, one day, a classmate I had been around since middle school was across the room from me (there because she was in trouble) doing assigned work, and looked at the paper with a confused gaze, then looked ba k at her friend and said, "What the heck is Arkansas?" But she literally, pronounced R-Kansas.
