For those who don't know what I mean: In 1958, Taylor was the wife of movie producer Mike Todd, and Reynolds was married to singing idol Eddie Fisher. That year, Mike Todd died in a plane crash. The widow Taylor took her consolation from the arms of Eddie Fisher, and in 1959 Fisher dumped Debbie Reynolds to marry Ms.Taylor.
And to make the tabloids even happier, in 1962, she cheated on Fisher by getting her hooks into CLEOPATRA co-star Richard Burton, ruining HIS marriage as well.
So while Liz Taylor MAY be a good actress, I have VERY LITTLE respect for her as a human being! I think her one and only redeeming quality was her work for AIDS Awareness.
