I made one which has 4000 views and 4 upvotes. It would be nice to know if it was Twitter, Facebook etc. that gave those views.

I viewed it with my 3999 alt accounts.

I have one that got 365,000 views a while back, and less than 20 upvotes. Don't know where that went.

It seems to be topical ones that get the big views. Whether that's someone on Twitter with thousands of followers on the back of others work it's impossible to say. I put "Germany World Cup memes" into Google Images and mine was the sixth result - maybe that's something to do with it.
