As I clearly said in my comment above, I've been calling for deporting illegals and slowing down legal immigration for decades, long before Trump or most of the populist crowd did. I've also long called to move several military bases to the US border and let the military patrol it. But it's morally reprehensible to catch illegals, and forcibly take their children away and never return them or allow the parents to have any contact with them or even know where they are, even after the parents are deported. It hard cold fact the the Trump admin has admitted to ordering ICE agents to separate kids from their families, even infants as soon as they're taken into custody, and to not return them, even at deportation. In the last few months 7,000 children have been separated, and 1,500 are now completely unaccounted for, meaning ICE has taken them from families and no longer is able to account for the children. In at least ten cases, it has been irrefutably proven that children have gone from the Custody of ICE into the sex trafficking industry in the last few months. Let's deport illegals, but stop with kidnapping their children and not returning them. Besides, it costs far more money to place the children into government and foster care than to keep them with thru families and to deport them together. That's basic human decent.
