A statistician tries to board a plane while carrying a bomb and is caught by security. They bring him into a side room and say, "Why would you want to kill so many innocent people?" The statistician laughed and said, "I never ment to detonate the bomb. You see, the chances of there being a bomb on any one plane is about 1/1000. Therefore the chance of there being two is 1/1000000, which is a lot safer.
