Actually, I think you're right. Not about it being a dud, but you thinking that it might be due to your news sources. It's quiet because a good prosecutor/investigator is not going to reveal what is going on with his investigations. For all the news about how Trump's people are running around finding ways to protect their and their boss' a$$, I'm guessing they know there's something deep inside that could come up. I don't believe that Trump will ever get nailed and prosecuted for collusion - I honestly think he's too dumb to conspire about anything without tweeting it to the world - but some of his people are sweating, thus the recent seemingly pointless pardons, as a signal that 'hey, we got your back if you keep quiet'. I don't think he'll be impeached; I actually don't want that. I want him to lose in 2020 so that he and his followers and their ideas are disgraced in the historical judgment.
