great question!! for the same reason that there is still rape and theft. We are in a fallen world - as the Bible states. Neither you nor I know how much prayer is doing nor how long it takes to "work". We see the Israelites in slavery for 400 years!! We has also seen where things happen immediately after prayer .Neither you nor I knows God's timing. I am confident that God will not only stop abortion but to call into account all of our actions.
