Sometimes the mods will pull something off the front page that has a "." or similar minimal captions set to zero font size. Usually creations like that won't even make it from submitted to featured.
The mods didn't do that to you, did they?You were on the front page for a long time with that one. Captions are one of the keys to getting a creation featured and a long life on the front page :)
