Yep, it was actually quite sad, he was a real character.

When I was like 3 there was a show with his daughter Bindy and I vaguely remember an Australian man and women appearing on it. Looking back it was probably Steve and his wife. There was also a wiggles dvd with him in it and they did it at his nature reserve/park thing.
