I can't recall who I suggested this to. But I mentioned to someone around here that complained of the same issue, maybe posting a sign on the property telling people to clean up after their dogs! It's worth a shot. You would think people would have more manners than that.

It must be part of one's upbringing. I can't litter let alone leave my dog's poop on someone's property.

These days people think it's okay for them to do whatever they want, and the one they trample is somehow a villain for standing up for them self. And you are right. Up bringing is at the root of it!
