Chester Cheetah can become very aggressive

Year-1987. Met Al Oeming through my ex (radio stn. mgr). Al was being interviewed by my ex on his AM show, female cheetah in tow. As the interview was going on, I snuggled up to this awesome cat, who weighed as much as I did and could have turned me into hamburger if she wanted -- but she was as tame as could be and her purring was LOUD :-)! A few hours later, when Oeming and big kitty were doing a presentation at a local school, she caught my scent as I walked in the door and she started chirping and purring like crazy!! Al flagged me over to calm her down--guess she put me on her BFF list :-) I'll never forget it.

Cats, regardless of size, know and love cat people. Some will siddle up to those folks without an invite, others will wait for the invite. Once they know you're a cat person, you are forever doomed to be at their beck and call.

My girls aren't cheetahs, but I love them. they add just the right amount of love and frustration to my life that I need.
