Single payer health care would spur forth a new entrepreneurial spirit in the US. Don't you want the efficiencies of the marketplace to drive down costs? When was the last time your doctor gave you a menu of options with prices before a procedure? You're not answering my question about wanting marketplace efficiencies! Marketplace forces only operate when the microeconomic incentives of price have actual purchase.
