Note: Noob Saibot was originally Sub-Zero and got killed in a fair fight with Scorpion (Hanzo Hasashi). Scorpion killed him because he thought Sub-Zero is the one who killed his family (even though it was Quan Chi, in which he later finds that out and Scorpion kills him). The Sub-Zero you see in Mortal Kombat games MK2 to MKX is all Noob Saibot's younger brother, Kuai Liang. Kuai Liang was originally Tundra, but took over the name Sub-Zero in his dead brother's honor. Noob Saibot is a revenant, created by Quan Chi's sorcery to serve him (same as Scorpion). Scorpion was revived from the dead by Quan Chi and decieved into thinking Bi-Han (original Sub-Zero) killed his clan (the Shyry Ryu) and his family. He hunted down Bi-Han without rest until he found him at the Mortal Kombat tournament. He challenged Bi-Han to the death and won.
