It says he opened it on December 11, 2017, so he has been using it troll people for over three months. That's how he had 92 points when I took the screen shot. He was probably using to give extra upvotes to his main account and extra downvotes to mine and other memes he didn't like.

I don't actually know. I had my first down voted into submission meme a couple days ago, and I think I lost 10,000 points from downvoters. Never would've thought little old me could trigger so many!
They got two of mine in the same evening. I was flipping through imgflip and both memes were doing good, then I left the house for a while or something and when I got home BOOM they were both submitted status! Do you mean you missed out on points? Because I didn't think our points would lessen because of downvotes.

I used to have the blue star on striped background icon, but now I don't. I think down voting takes away points from both the giver and the receiver.
