Doesn't matter which is more common. I don't want to get shot, dowsed with acid, stabbed, blown up, or hit by a truck. The fact is that bad people who want to hurt others will find means to do evil and hurt others even if you take away opportunity to use guns. Look up the statistics for acid attacks in London. I heard from a guest on a BBC television program that London was the acid attack capital of the world. They shut off his mic soon after.

plus, people get ran over by moving vehicles all the time. if you are so worked up about this, go protest or whatever on something else, memes are supposed to be fun, you should be happy, and so should everyone else. sorry if i upset you :-)

The government/state is the only entity that has the authority to initiate use of force of violence.
I can use force of violence to defend myself, my property, or another innocent person from an act of violence but I can't lawfully initiate the use of force.
The government is more dangerous than any criminal, that being said, before some leftist anti-second Amendment fanatic says, "Next time you need help don't call the police..." I prefer to be able to help myself and the government to be limited as much as possible.

I too am more afraid of our government and believe that the main reason that any of them are pushing for gun control is not because they really care about innocent people being shot and killed by non-government people but that their goal ultimately is to completely disarm us and then have complete control—no militias to fight back!
