Kelly was referring to a report over the weekend that O’Reilly paid $32 million to Fox contributor Lis Wiehl to settle harassment allegations. O’Reilly, who was fired from Fox News in the spring in the wake of an advertiser revolt following other revelations about his alleged sexual harassment while at the network, has denied all wrongdoing, portraying himself as the victim in a subsequent interview with the Times and suggesting that no one ever complained about his behavior to human resources or to Fox’s legal team.
