Because humans are stupid, hard to believe this started out as meme to STOP people from eating Tide Pods, but since people take EVERYTHING literally, they started eating Tide Pods, and THEN everyone wonders why everyone is eating f**king Tide Pods!!!

In a way you're right. Like when a little kid does something for attention. Now it's to the point that if you tell these dumb asses not to do something they'll do it even more... Or move on to something else maybe even more dangerous.
