I set it up on a few of mine, works with added text boxes too. It might seem like it's not sticking at first. If you get a "positions saved" pop-up, it worked, hit F5 and you should see them in the new location.
Last night's testing was on my W7 PC. I'll test it on my Android device. I noticed if you get the "positions saved" popup, then toggle from My Templates to Popular Memes and then back to My Templates, that seems to get a refresh and the new positions come up on the template in question.
