JOHN 8:24 “THEREFORE I SAID TO YOU THAT YOU WILL DIE IN YOUR SINS; FOR UNLESS YOU BELIEVE THAT I AM HE, YOU WILL DIE IN YOUR SINS.” | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
MLK Jr. was a Christian in name only; he even had many good works. Alas athough he was a "baptist minister" he denied the deity of Christ. In his paper "The Humanity and Divinity of Jesus" he says that he can't accept the divine nature of Christ. In direct opposition of Jesus Christ's own words MLK Jr. did not believe that Jesus was the "I AM." In doing so he believe in "another Jesus" that could not save him. So he has gone the way of many liberal theologians.
