So I looked it up. 'Hetalia: Axis Powers'. Says it's a comic re-imagining of World War II through individual characters representing the countries. Obviously there's more so I'll keep looking into it...

So the (very mild) surprise is that I actually watched some of Hetalia: Axis Powers on YouTube last night. The first four episodes so about 20 minutes. I liked it enough that I will continue doing so. :) Not much violence yet.

I dunno yet. I've just seen the four episodes so it's like Germany, Italy, and Japan. I'll get back to it soon enough and let you know. I find it interesting how they're explaining history down through the ages by making individual characters represent countries and empires. Kind of a different perspective for someone like me whose major in college was history. :)
