I've lived my entire life in The Evergray State...more and more the weather and politics are wearing on me, but I'm sure this is where I'll die. By the way, I forgot to mention your Proclaimers reply was awesome :)

Thanks, the pretenders song put me in mind of a certain someone. But that's another story for another day. ;-)

Very chill. The way I like it. ;-). Have not heard of Quarrymen.

The Quarrymen was an English skiffle group founded by John Lennon that brought in Paul McCartney and then George Harrison and ultimately became Johnny And The Moondogs (oh, and The Beatles)

That is fun info. I Iike'd ringo's baritone the best. I think I saw him once at the Tucson gem and mineral show (in a restaurant). He just had that presence.

I saw Paul in The Kingdome in 1990. Great show...heard his latest at Safeco Field was awesome, sorry I missed it

True story? Or am I just not getting the reference (again) LOL

No, it's an obscure reference to a Pretenders Christmas song, actually one of my favorite Christmas songs. I thought twice about using it, but I like the song so much. You might want to listen to it :)

Also a partial. In 7 years another one going just south of here which I'd really like to see. Then move up your way. That's the plan anyway;-). I like it here but there's a strong draw to the NW for various reasons...
