Nonetheless, we need to keep a close watch ... it would be a very good thing if people became aware, and one way we can raise awareness is to talk about what happened in the US through all our social media contacts. Canadian apathy left us with a bad government for ten long years, and in my province, a far-right government who did grievous harm to our health care system and hurt a lot of innocent people through draconian cuts to social programs like legal aid, and severe cutbacks to labour standards. We in the frozen North can preserve what is left, but not by turning our gaze in other directions.
