It can if the foolishness stops. We always had "issues" that needed working on. That did not mean giving up. We live in an "extreme ends" culture now. Moderates all fell off the planet to keep the balance. Reason has died to too many. I can live again. You only have to believe.

oh I believe, G. but have you tried telling a large number of foolish people to stop being foolish? we have a culture of foolishness and that may not recede readily. maybe we haven't valued education and educated people enough over the last fifty years.
