Ice Age Week, or Movie Week. Who even knows anymore?

Well, Ice Age IS a movie. Then again, it can be about anything ice or cold related. It kind of sucks because I planned Ice Age Week a week in advance and then Movie Week randomly pops up and the next day apparently that's happening. Either way, good meme :). Upvoted

Which is why I'm doing both. I had no control over the timing of "movie week," even though my name is on it. My name is only on it because Pipe_Picasso put it there. But I think both are a cool idea, which is why I'm doing both.

I'm surprised someone would put your name on an event if you didn't plan the event. But I guess they're both good events.

Technically, it was partially my idea. Pipe_Picasso commented on my egg meme where it shows a cracked open egg and says "the great eggscape." he said something about a movie week and I said that sounds like fun. He told me he would have me as a sponsor for the week. So it's really his idea, to be honest.

I don't mind participating in a few at once, but I like to have slots free for other meme ideas too.

Yeah, I've been doing one of each theme and one just random meme each day.

I'm not sure what you mean by turned down, but you don't need to try to get approval from other users before doing a theme week. You just do it and it's up to other people if they want to join in or not. If nobody ends up joining in and it's just a theme week you do on your own, there's no problem with that.

It's not necessary to secure people's participation (or promotion) in advance. I think you're overthinking it. You don't need a guarantee in advance that a week is going to be successful or promoted before you decide if you want to do it.

But yes, if you end up deciding to do it, I'll probably make a meme for it, and I'll try to make the meme in the first couple of days of the week. :-)

Also, you don't actually have to do theme weeks. I mean they can be fun, but it can be fun to make memes without a theme week too.
