@PowerMetalhead Thank You! Tuning 5 octaves down and hitting random notes does not make you a metal guitarist. The lowest tuning I'd accept for metal is Drop C and that's it.

I completely agree! I think that there's really no need to go lower than E-flat! "Symbolic" and "Seven Churches" are a perfect proof that you can sound heavy and brutal in E-flat!

@PowerMetalhead I personally like D tuning, I have a BC Rich Mockingbird Pro X with 0.09-0.46 strings set in D standard and it's a mean riffing and soloing machine in that tuning. You don't even have to tune down, Head Crusher by Megadeth is heavy as hell and it's in E standard tuning. But still, downtuning (to a certain extent) is always fun to play in and it's fun to experiment with.
