That shirt is several sizes too small at this point...I think I got it when I was about 11, lol...possibly on a trip to Virginia Beach, as I recall. And, you see, they're dressed up like black singers from the past, and as we know that's "cultural appropriation" or "blackface" by some people's standards...!? Who knows, these people will get offended by anything if and when they want to. I mean, Dr. Seuss is racist now (despite the fact the girl who said so previously loved Dr. Seuss).

My daughter thought it was racist because my wife asked her Chinese friend's mom if she had a recipe for something Chinese. I said no, people just make it that way. She could have a recipe or know of a friend who does. She's a logical person to ask. I said your granny is Scottish. Would it be racist if someone assumed she had a recipe for haggis or leek and potatoe soup? She agreed that no it wouldn't.
