Captain Picard Facepalm Meme | YES. I KNOW | image tagged in memes, captain picard facepalm | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I was just explaining that I wasn't being a pervert with my reply meme. A toddler asking if you're jerking his raisins can be WRONGFULLY misconstrued. Anyway, great to see you still submitting memes, bro! :-)

X All The Y Meme | JERK ALL THE RAISANS | image tagged in memes,x all the y | made w/ Imgflip meme maker
I can see why did that. People judge even though it is a simple joke. I don't know, the meme factory is not doing as well as it used too.

You must be old like me. I'm 43 and cherish anything from the 80's.

I still have a shirt with them on it that I got as a kid. (40 here.) Today they'd probably be considered racist.

Do you think? That would be really sad if true. They're raisins! Wow the world today huh....I'd totally rock that shirt if I had it!

That shirt is several sizes too small at this point...I think I got it when I was about 11, lol...possibly on a trip to Virginia Beach, as I recall. And, you see, they're dressed up like black singers from the past, and as we know that's "cultural appropriation" or "blackface" by some people's standards...!? Who knows, these people will get offended by anything if and when they want to. I mean, Dr. Seuss is racist now (despite the fact the girl who said so previously loved Dr. Seuss).

Ah yes. My wife is Scottish, and these are still around over there. Yeah not tooo offensive huh. We don't have any!
But yes I agree, there's offensive, and then there's just being too p.c. Which is sad. My daughter thought it was racist because my wife asked her Chinese friend's mom if she had a recipe for something Chinese. I said no, people just make it that way. She could have a recipe or know of a friend who does. She's a logical person to ask. I said your granny is Scottish. Would it be racist if someone assumed she had a recipe for haggis or leek and potatoe soup? She agreed that no it wouldn't.

lol, that product is hilarious. I can just imagine the (faux) outrage in the US if someone tried to introduce those there with that packaging. Some people are offended too easily. The ones who annoy me the most are the overly-vigilant (white) liberals/progressives who get offended on behalf of other people before these other people have even decided they're offended themselves. I mean **** off. lol

Wow you nailed it! That's exactly who I hate, and why I corrected my 11 year old and made sure she understood, so hopefully she doesn't grow up to be one.
Yeah that's the name for them, they're called 'Golliwogs. That packaging wouldn't last 5 minutes in a store.

It's the college years which will be the most trying. Those places are practically left-wing indoctrination centres. On the upside, the influence tends to fade once people leave there (but no guarantees).

You're right again. Luckily they're 11 and 13 so I have a little bit of time!
