1. Click the link to the gif

2. Click 'Show embed codes'

3. Copy the code from the middle box - 'BBCode(forums)'

4. Go to where you want to make a comment with that gif

5. Paste the code

6. "Clean up" the comment by deleting the stuff in brackets at the beginning and the end (so you're left with something that starts with "https" and ends with "gif")

And... voilà! :-)

I am putting together a upvote gif memestream (not quite ready yet), wasn't sure how to set up a user friendly format. This meme has a great format example for me to follow there, because memestreams will only support memes and links, not actual gifs. Thank you!

I need to get my stream up and running. Thanks for keeping this meme alive...

Instead of doing a stream just for upvote gifs, you could do a general help/resources stream for imgflip, and have the upvote gifs be on one meme under that stream. Then you could expand the stream with other options as necessary.

I've been meaning to work on those. Have you ever seen where comments won't stick to a meme?

Sometimes. But then usually if I type ?a=11 (or any other number) after the letters in the link in the browser, it refreshes and I can see the comment.

Indeed I am. I was welcomed to the Black Star Alliance by SirMemeALot about 5 months ago. About comments not sticking, I have noticed if a meme gets over 500 comments, imgflip will let me comment, they show in my profile but they don't stick to the meme. I was thinking about making a glitch meme, I have seen a few in my time here. Black images instead of the template images, image description from another meme, title from another meme, etc.
