They typically say it wasn't fully instituted properly. There are many videos of contemporary talking heads praising Hugo Chavez as a great liberators from Capitalism and now look at the once very wealthy (and at one time major vacation spot for people) Venezuela

Well said - Socialists think they are Angels to be given all power and distribute wealth. Problem is, the human heart. Founding Fathers knew this and created checks and balances for that reason. It's also why Socialists are so arrogant and feel they are morally superior....not sinners like the rest of us.
