I always thought that, maybe too much for the system.

I can't image it being that hard. Worse case they would have to post what time zone they are using in order to not need to code using the location if each device to match times that way. It then also makes it easier that instead of copying and pasting comments to quote someone, you can just reference the comment by time stamp. But I guess not even facebook uses actual time stamps on their comments, just generalized on how long ago like the memes are here.

The one thing that gets frustrating when coming across a flame war thread, besides having a length limit in how many comments are in the thread, is that because of up and down votes, the comments are not in order from when they are posted. It does get hard to try to follow what is said to see who started attacking who first. I know there are many people who don't care about something like this and put blame on both people, and many more that wish imgflip would install a way for these flame wars to end. But for me it is interesting to read some of these and would be helpful to read the comments in order, like you was there witnessing the whole thing while it was happening.
