how do you know? my general policy is to be extremely skeptical of everything i hear and read, but before i decide that someone's lying, i need good evidence. we're living in a world of accusations without evidence.

How do i know CNN Lies? well they were caught last week staging an "event" in the texas floods. They were caught red handed giving Hillary the questions to the debate in nov 2016, they fired the moderator and they also fired 3 reporters about 3 months ago for doing a similar lie and posted a redaction and apology.. Thats 3 instances off the tip of my head in less than a year. Pretty pitiful. Not to mention they tried to blackmail a kid who made a trump/wwe meme . disgraceful

ok, i checked on those four stories. snopes.com says that the accusation of staging a Harvey flood rescue is false, and their analysis seems valid. the person who shared the debate topics with Clinton ahead of the debate was actually a DNC official. the story about cnn making and retracting a report on a scaramucci-Russia link is true. the claim about cnn blackmailing a reddit user, and whether that user was just a kid or middle-aged, hasn't been confirmed or refuted by an independent source as far as i can see.

so there seems to be some real mismanagement at cnn, but also some misrepresentation by pro-Trump forces. always best to check!

snopes and factcheck don't seem to be related to each other, at least i don't find a connection. the CNN emcee (a former DNC official) was apparently fired for leaking debate info ahead of time to the Clinton campaign, and for the resulting controversy of course. what i'm saying about that is that her motivation was as a democrat, not necessarily as an employee of cnn. i'll look for the Harvey video...
