Challenges of an Extrovert who is Socially Awkward

:) When some people go to new social events (like me), it feels depressing to conform to other peoples interests, because of the fear of ridicule for being different. Is this what you mean?

Especially since I'm on the autism spectrum.

I have Mild Autism (PDD-NOS) as well. However, what's odd is that despite me being socially awkward, I'm an extrovert that loves to socialize (unlike many of the people I know who have Asperger Syndrome), and often avoid loud parties because unlike most people, I take in every stimulus.
